AWS to open $7 . 25b data centre in Auckland , NZ
Amazon has announced plans to open a new cloud region in New Zealand, which will allow customers to store data in separate zones. AWS has said it will invest $7.25 billion in the new region within the next five years, and will provide lower availability for high-availability applications.
