Texas reaches $290 million settlement with opioid manufacturer Johnson & Johnson

Texas’s chief executive Jan Menefee has signed a $26 billion opioid settlement against the drugs company J&J, officials have told the US state broadcaster ABC News on Tuesday, saying the agreement is “historic”.
