Visa invests in Australian Open Banking platform Basiq

Visa has bought the Basiq digital banking platform in Australia for a total of $1.3bn (£1.2 billion) in an effort to boost the growth of the open data economy in the country. Australian financial services firm Visa says it is investing more than $1.5 billion.
