Chicago Cancels Classes After Teachers Union Votes to Return to Virtual Learning

Schools in the US city of Chicago will remain open until further notice, the city’s mayor Lori Lightfoot has confirmed, despite a vote to shift back to virtual learning during the pandemic, teachers have said. They say they have yet to provide safety for their children.
