Analysis : women across Japan far behind in gender equality | The Asahi Shimbun : Breaking News , Japan News and Analysis

The number of women governors in Japan has fallen to its lowest level in more than 50 years, according to a new report from Japan’s state-run newspaper, The Asahi Shimbun, in the northernmost main island of Hokkaido, and Japan's largest prefecture.
