Europol gears up to collect big data on European citizens after MEPs vote to expand policing power
The European Parliament has approved a significant expansion of Europols role in the European Police Service (Europol), which includes the use of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) systems. MEPs have voted in favour of the move.
