Google subsea cable Equiano lands in South Africa
South Africa’s largest submarine cable has landed on the coast of Cape Town, making it the first fibre-pairs cable to connect the continent to a neighbouring island in the Atlantic Ocean in more than two decades, it has been announced by the South African government.
