NSF - funded institute at Georgetown University aims to advance research around viral emergence
Scientists in the US have been awarded a funding boost to develop the world s largest effort to tackle Covid-19 and other infectious diseases, including the spread of the virus in animals and humans. They will also be trained to prepare for the next public health crisis.
