The National University of the Littoral (UNL) has been recognized by the Open Government Portal as an exemplary academic practice by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Open Government Academic Network. This recognition highlights how the institution integrates transparency, participation, and collaboration initiatives, distinguishing itself through its visual approach and its capacity to foster multidisciplinary action. The initiative is presented as an innovative and replicable model in a context where such academic programs are still scarce. This distinction underscores the importance of data transparency in strengthening democracies and improving public policies.
