Malaysia has announced plans to open a data centre in the city of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of the Asean region, ahead of its first major expansion in its territory in October. The company says it will increase its investment in 5G technology and businesses in this region to boost their growth and expand its business in an area where they are increasingly connected to the nation, but the company has said it wants to create another digital connectivity hub for Malaysia to be able to attract investors and multinationals with its own presence in Singapore and Malaysia.
