India s government has launched a new data portal to rank cities based on four indices, including the Ease of Living Index and Climate Smart Cities (UCLBs) for the first time in more than two decades, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has announced. The initiative is being developed by the government to help data-driven policy. But The government is set to launch an online assessment website for academics, researchers and public figures could be made available on the internet. Why?
