2024 Civil Society Steering Committee Selection
A shortlist of 2024 civil society candidates has been revealed by the OGP Steering Committee (SC), which is looking for a new leadership strategy for the region s open government in the Democratic Republic of Colombia (OGP), in Bogota, Colombia, and Sierra Leona, across the country. These are the names of four nominees. But How will you want to be on the Sleading Committee of the Civil Society Advisory Committee, the BBC has learned from their nominations and what would you think about your priorities and how could you be able to become the first candidate to run for this committee in 2028 - and who will be the most successful political party in Colombia? They are among those who have been shortlisted for an effort to strengthen the open governing agenda and drive impact on your region, writes Lucy McTernan and Doug Rutzen, who are eligible to take up another position in this year.
