Ahmad Zahid visits NEC Super Tower , witnesses signing between MyDigital and Toshiba

Toshiba has signed an agreement with Japans second largest electronics firm in a bid to promote digital skills in Malaysia, according to the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (NEC) on Tuesday, 17 January, 2018 - the first time it is reported to be involved in the development of cyber-security technology in Asia and the world s biggest economy. But How could it help businesses from Malaysia and Japan work together to develop big data technology, the BBC has learned from reports from the Japanese government ahead of the launch of an open data initiative which aims to boost the digitalisation of its communities and become the next foreign powers in digital society? The BBC understands how the two nations are working together on their efforts to tackle threats against cybercrime and cybercriminalisation. The joint partnership has been reached by two Japanese companies, but they are looking forward for more opportunities for further acquisitions and developments, as part of what it says is the future of digital development in Japan and Malaysia. But what does it mean for the Malaysian government? Why is it so important to work with the company? And why is Japan going to take steps towards developing digital technology? Here is what happens to two countries, and how it can be used to use satellite images of livestock and activity planning and travel across the country, with talks between the government and Japanese firms for two years. Analysts have visited the NEC Super Tower in Johor, to find out what is happening.
