Tenants union takes a Related Companies subsidiary to Brooklyn Housing Court
A tenants union has appeared in court charged with eviction against a property management company which is behind demolition plans for Hudson Yards in New York and Elliott-Chelsea housing closures, according to their LinkedIn accounts. They are among those accused of illegally flipping rent-stabilized flats. The rights group says it is helping the group to fight the case, after thousands of people took part in an investigation into the company’s alleged involvement in claims that the firm is allegedly trying to sell apartments to renters across the country.
