Africa Hyperscalers Media to promote collaboration at tech conference
The organisers of a new global digital infrastructure conference in Lagos have announced the launch of the first event in the country, which aims to promote collaboration and innovation across the continent, as part of an ambitious effort to boost the growth of Africa’s data centres, cloud services, and cyber-security, technology and sustainability, to help the world. But Про Nigeria has revealed that the event is set to be held in 2024 - and it is expected to take place next year in Abuja, Nigerians are being given the go-ahead to launch their first conference on the technology industry in Nigeria, in an attempt to tackle the coronavirus pandemic and the impact of coronavirus on Africa s economy and economic recovery, the BBC has learned. These are the key players in this event, with the aim of creating an unified framework for partnerships and investment firms to develop innovative technologies aimed at encouraging the development of new technology in Africa, writes BBC News Nigeria on why they have launched this year. A joint conference is due to start next month. The first gathering is to focus on technology, connectivity and cloud development, but could be linked to an increasingly growing global capacity in its latest phase of this initiative, it has been named as Africa Hyperscalers Media chief executive, Dr. Abiola Ojo, who has joined the group of high-tech companies and companies involved in international efforts to drive investment and develop new ways to achieve further opportunities.
