South Africa s National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) has announced the winners of the 2023/2024 NSTF-South32 awards for excellence in science, engineering, technology and innovation (set) and technology (SENT) in the South African state of Cape Town. These are the names of those who have won the award. The BBC understands what they have done. Here is the full list of 17 nominations which have been awarded to the public for 2023 and 2024, including the first prize being given to scientists, engineers and researchers who contributed significant contributions to science and engineering across the world during the pandemic and the impact on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) to South Afrika.
