Harris and Walker join Gen H as non - exec directors
Gen H, a mortgage lender, has appointed Maria Harris and Peter Walker as non-executive directors to its board, following the recent appointment of Tony Ward as the board chair. Harris brings extensive experience in the mortgage and financial services sector, having founded the Open Property Data Association (OPDA) and previously held director roles at Atom Bank, HBoS, and Lloyds Banking Group. She is also a non-executive director of United Trust Bank (UTB) and an adviser to mortgage broker Coreco and FinTech North. Walker, a chartered accountant, has a background in regulated mortgage lending, loan servicing, business management, and debt capital markets. He has worked at EY and BCM Global, and is an investor and adviser to fintech and proptech companies. The appointments aim to strengthen Gen H s leadership and governance structures as the company prepares to scale up.
