China lanza un innovador conjunto de datos climáticos globales y promueve la cooperación en IA con ASEAN
China has internationally shared its Global Climate Dataset, marking a milestone in the transparency of meteorological information. This initiative makes high-value products available, such as atmospheric reanalysis and satellite data, aligned with global standards to strengthen research and disaster resilience. The release of these resources promotes open collaboration in AI and meteorology, facilitating the joint development of advanced predictive models with ASEAN partners. By prioritizing data integration and talent development, it accelerates technological innovation to improve early warnings for severe climate events. This development is crucial for open data, as it demonstrates how national institutions can contribute to the global common good through open access to critical climate datasets. It fosters international interoperability and the ethical use of artificial intelligence, showing that transparency in climate data is essential for scientific cooperation and protecting populations from climate change.
