Fiestas del Pitic 2026 buscan artistas y la convocatoria ya está abierta: esta es TODA la información

The Hermosillo government has officially opened applications for the 2026 Pitic Festivals, inviting a wide range of cultural participants to submit artistic and academic proposals. This initiative aims to curate a diverse program featuring performances, visual arts, and educational events, fostering community engagement and artistic expression during the May 2026 celebration. The selection process prioritizes artistic quality and financial viability, with strict adherence to online submission protocols. By focusing on merit-based evaluation and clear contractual obligations, the festival ensures professional standards while maintaining transparency in the hiring of performers and cultural promoters, ultimately shaping a high-quality public cultural offering. This announcement is relevant to open data as it highlights the growing reliance on digital infrastructure for civic participation and transparency. The mandatory online registration platform serves as a centralized data collection point for cultural stakeholders. Analyzing such open calls can reveal trends in cultural funding, participation demographics, and the effectiveness of digital governance tools in managing large-scale public events.
