INEGE advances in the technical validation of documents for the Fifth Population Census and the First Agricultural Census
A workshop brings together ministerial representatives and technical staff from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGE) to validate the statistical instruments required to carry out two national censuses in Equatorial Guinea. This meeting aims to build technical consensus among the participating institutions, ensuring that methodologies and procedures are meticulously designed to facilitate the effective implementation of census operations. The completion of these processes will significantly strengthen the availability of statistical information in the country. The data collected will provide a solid foundation for understanding the demographic, housing, and agricultural realities, which is crucial for national planning. This initiative is particularly relevant to open data, as censuses generate fundamental public information essential for formulating transparent policies. By improving knowledge of the country’s reality, it facilitates access to reliable data that empowers civil society and promotes government accountability.
