UB researchers detect California variants of coronavirus in WNY - UB Now : News and views for UB faculty and staff

The SARS-CoV-2 strain has been identified in samples of Western New Yorkers who tested positive for Covid-19, according to scientists at the University of Birmingham ( UB).Scientists say the virus is almost 20% more transmissible than the disease.
