Global energy boost predicted from rooftop solar photovoltaics
Solar panels used in home, commercial and industrial buildings are the fastest deployable electricity generation technology in the world, a study has revealed. Scientists say the technology could supply more than half of the global energy needs by 2050, but the costs remain uncertain.
