U . S . Agencies Saw Risk of Violence Before Capitol Riot , GAO Says
US federal agencies were aware of the planned attacks on the US Capitol and Congress before the election result, the government accountability office has said. FBI, Homeland Security Department and US Congress were also involved in the plot to overturn the 2016 election results.
